Ray Delgado spent 14 years working the line at dealerships across Orange County before he got tired of the same thing every customer got tired of — shops that treated people like tickets, not neighbors.
In 2009, with two lifts, one employee, and a lease on a bay off Euclid Street, he opened Ironworks Auto. The name came from his grandfather, a metalworker who taught him that anything worth building was worth building right.
Sixteen years later, the shop has grown to six bays and a team of ASE-certified technicians — but the operating principle hasn't changed. Written estimates before any work starts. No upsells. No surprises on the bill. Just honest diagnostic work and repairs that hold.
